Orange County Attorney – Do I Really Need One?
Needing an Orange County Attorney’s help doesn’t always mean that you have a legal dispute with someone.
In fact, attorneys quite often assist clients with issues that have virtually nothing to do with a dispute or even a legal case. For example, someone may look for an attorney’s advice in regards to the legal aspects of starting and setting up a business entity or a partnership agreement, or maybe in the case of many internet businesses, a joint venture or JV deal as some call them. Other reasons may be for tax or estate planning or when looking at buying or selling a home. Truth is, there are nearly as many reasons people seek the advice of an attorney, as there are attorneys to satisfy the need that exists.
With all the issues revolving around credit cards and credit card companies today, another reason could be, because you feel like the credit card company unfairly increased the interest rate on your credit card. Or when they mailed you a low rate offer in the form of a blank check that you just had to fill out and deposit, after receiving your statement, you find out that you didn’t get that low rate after all and your payments are much higher than you were expecting them to be.
Also with all the foreclosure problems going on today, another issue may be that you now feel like your Mortgage Lender misrepresented the terms of your loan or how the loan could change over the term of the loan, such as in an ARM loan situation. Or maybe, you didn’t even know that you were getting an ARM loan to begin with, you thought you were getting a fixed rate loan and now you find out that your house payment is going up hundreds of dollars a month.
Further, you may have purchased a property in which there is an opportunity to divide the structure into two or three units that you can now rent out. Now you will need rental or lease agreements, possibly utility agreements, such as for who pays the electric, water, sewer, satellite TV, DSL or internet service, who maintains the lawn, who pays for repairs, and a whole list of other items depending on the property itself and how you divide it up.
Often, much like a medical checkup, Orange County Attorney clients receive a regular legal checkup designed to prevent or nip problems in the bud.
